The Idea

Think Write is a firm conceived to provide simpler and cheaper digital pen technology, with a motive to "record thoughts at the speed of thoughts"; than any existing product in the market. We have developed a novel Continuous Position Mapping Technology for Digital Pens, which betters existing technologies by being a simple, compact unit which does not require paper and is 70% cheaper.

Customer Problem

There is a need to convert hand written information into digital data "on the go", through a pen. While more than 250 firms make digital pens, existing products are expensive, require special paper with printed pattern or a satellite device for tracking the pen's position.

Our Solution

Our product works on the principle of a novel continuous position mapping technology, conceived by THINK WRITE, for motion detection. It can be used for recording written data over time and can also be used as a digital pointing device. The simplicity in product's mechanism and design makes it a single compact unit and easy to use. It does not require the use of any special paper and writes on any given surface. The innovative technology makes it 70% cheaper than existing products of the similar kind.

Revenue Model

Our revenue model is based on licensing the technology to our network of partner companies which provide digital pen solutions. We thereafter make continuous improvements based on consumer feedback/partner requirements while developing other innovations. This is the most established revenue model for digital pen service providers. We plan to license our technology to a network of partner companies that are into providing digital pen products and solutions across various industries. Over 250 such companies are operational globally. Given the superiority in technology and pricing, there will be a substantial influx of new manufacturers in the market to integrate our technology into developing solutions for a growing number of end users.
